Services
Seven ways to make your IT more reliable and less expensive
Each service solves a problem you probably know: too expensive, too risky, too dependent. Each has a clear outcome, can be booked on its own and can be delivered as a pilot within a few weeks.
Overview
Three goals, seven services
We sort by what you want to achieve. Every service can be booked on its own β the order follows your situation, not a package.
Servers are one-offs, the knowledge lives in people's heads, the hardware is ageing. Infrastructure as code, containerising applications and cloud migration within the EU make your IT reproducible β from your own server to an EU data centre. No development team needed.
Windows Server, Oracle, MSSQL: the invoices grow and switching feels too risky. Replacing server licences and replacing database licences β step by step, with a rollback plan, permanently cheaper.
For companies that build their own applications or have them built. Test environments per change show every change before go-live, and the software delivery check shows where the path from code to production stalls.
Modernise operations
IT that can be rebuilt
Three building blocks that make servers and applications reproducible β documented, testable and, if in doubt, reversible. Deliverable with your administrator or IT provider, no development team needed.
Infrastructure as code
Servers, network and settings as code: documented, reviewed, rebuildable in minutes. The knowledge lives in the system β not only with one colleague.
For companies whose servers were set up by hand, whose configuration exists only in peopleβs heads, and who have no second environment to test in.
Outcome: one pilot system fully as code, including onboarding your team into the workflow.
No server is a one-off anymore
Every environment can be rebuilt from code β identically, in minutes instead of days. That applies to test, staging and production.
Every change is documented and traceable
Who changed what, when and why? The answer is in the version history, not in an email from three years ago.
Changes are reviewed before they are applied
A review process like for application code: four eyes, automated checks, only then rollout.
Knowledge stays in the company
When a colleague or a vendor leaves, the infrastructure remains understandable and operable.
Containerising applications
Your application runs exactly the same on a laptop, in test and in production β because it brings its whole environment with it.
For companies where βit works on my machineβ is a familiar phrase and deployments depend on the configuration of each individual server.
Outcome: one application containerised and in operation, including build pipeline and documentation.
The end of βbut it works on my machineβ
The application ships with its entire runtime environment. Differences between development, test and production disappear.
Deployments in minutes, rollbacks in seconds
Starting a new version or returning to the old one becomes routine instead of a weekend project.
Independent of individual servers and operating systems
Containerised applications run on any Linux host, in the cloud or in your own data centre β the basis for later migrations.
Prerequisite for review apps and modern CI/CD
Once containerised, every change can be tested automatically in its own environment. The next step becomes easy.
Cloud migration within the EU
Out of your own server room, away from ageing hardware and maintenance contracts: we move you to providers with data centres in Germany and the EU. Whether it pays off is shown by the cost comparison up front β not afterwards.
For companies that depreciate their own hardware, pay maintenance contracts or rent servers that sit half empty most of the time β and whose data has to stay in the EU.
Outcome: one system or application migrated to an EU data centre, including a before/after cost comparison and operations documentation (requires containerisation).
No more hardware that ages
No depreciation, no maintenance contracts, no spare parts. Whether a dedicated server at a German hosting provider or scalable cloud: we calculate up front which is cheaper for your workload.
Data stays in the EU
We work with European providers or EU regions β data centres in Germany and the EU, GDPR-compliant, with no data transfers to third countries.
No more server room that someone has to look after
Power, cooling, failed disks, spare parts β the provider takes care of that. Your team looks after applications, not tin.
Described as code, reproducible at any time
The applications move as containers, the environment is built from infrastructure as code. Switching providers stays possible at any time β no lock-in.
Cut licence costs
Save licence costs without endangering operations
Licence migrations have the biggest savings potential β and the biggest risk. That is why we do them step by step, with a rollback plan and on the foundation of infrastructure as code and containers.
Replacing server licences
When Windows Server licences tie up more budget every year: we move the services that do not depend on Windows to Linux step by step β no downtime, permanent savings.
For companies running Windows Server for services that run just as well or better on Linux β web servers, databases, application servers, file services, internal tools. Active Directory, Exchange or your ERP stay where they are.
Outcome: one system migrated to Linux, documented and in operation β plus a roadmap for the remaining systems (requires containerisation).
Licence costs disappear β permanently
Windows Server and CAL licences are recurring costs. After the migration they are history for that system.
Fewer maintenance windows, fewer reboots
Linux systems can be updated while running. The patch weekend becomes the exception.
Containers instead of manual work
The services move as containers, the servers are described as code. That makes the migration the first step towards reliable change β and the stepping stone for a later cloud migration.
No big bang
We migrate one system after another, starting with the lowest-risk one. The old system stays untouched until the switch has succeeded.
Replacing database licences
Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server are among the most expensive items in an IT budget. We migrate to PostgreSQL β cleanly, thoroughly tested, with a rollback plan.
For companies whose Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server licences tie up a significant part of the IT budget β for applications that can also run on PostgreSQL.
Outcome: one database migrated, tested and handed over, including application adjustments.
The biggest single saving in the IT budget
Oracle and MSSQL licences are among the most expensive line items. PostgreSQL is open source, mature and free of licence fees.
Data and application are checked before the switch
Schema, data, stored procedures and application code are analysed and tested before a single row moves to production.
Rollback plan included
The old database keeps running in parallel until the new one has proven it can do everything. The switch is a flip, not a leap.
Future-proof and independent
No licence audits, no price increases, no dependence on one vendor. PostgreSQL runs everywhere β including in containers.
Ship your own software safely
For companies that build their own applications
Whether in-house team or agency: these two services make sure changes to your software are checked before they go live β and that you know where your delivery loses time.
Test environments per change
Every change automatically gets its own clickable test environment first. Business users, customers and the team see the result before it goes live.
For companies where business users or customers only see changes after go-live β so problems only surface in production.
Outcome: review apps set up for one application, created and torn down automatically (requires containerisation).
Business users see the change before it goes live
A link, a running version, instant feedback. Misunderstandings get cleared up before they become expensive.
Bugs are found earlier β and fixed cheaper
A bug in a review app costs minutes. The same bug in production costs hours, customers and nerves.
No more fighting over the one test environment
Every change has its own environment. Nobody overwrites someone elseβs work anymore.
Go-lives become boring
What worked in the review app works in production. The Friday release loses its terror.
Software delivery check
We check how fast and how safely your software gets from change to production β honestly evaluated, clearly prioritised. The diagnosis everything else builds on.
For companies that build their own software and where releases take long, fail often, or nobody knows exactly how secure the path from code to production is.
Outcome: written diagnosis with prioritised actions.
You know where time and money are lost
We measure build times, failure rates and waiting times and show which bottlenecks really slow your team down.
Security gaps become visible before someone else finds them
Handling of credentials, dependencies, permissions and traceability β checked against common standards.
A prioritised list instead of a thick report
What first? What delivers the most for the least effort? You get an order you can start with immediately.
A basis for decisions by management and IT
Written in plain language, with effort estimates and expected benefit β so approving the next step is easy.

30 minutes, free. We clarify what is coming up and whether we can help.
Concrete plan
Written proposal with scope, effort, benefit and rollback plan.
Pilot implementation
One clearly scoped system is delivered. You see the result before deciding on more.
FAQs
Questions about the services
Where should we start?
With whatever hurts right now or costs the most β usually a specific migration or an application whose updates are risky. In the assessment call we check which foundation it needs β usually infrastructure as code and containers, because the migrations build on them. Only if it is unclear where the problem lies is the software delivery check worth doing first.
How do you charge?
Assessments and pilots have a fixed scope, and you know the price before we start. For the wider rollout we agree fixed prices per system or a time budget, whichever fits.
Do we have to change our tools?
No. We work with what you have β GitLab, GitHub, Azure DevOps, Proxmox, VMware, cloud or your own data centre. We only recommend a switch when it clearly pays off.
What about our existing IT provider?
We are happy to work with them. Our goal is that your company understands and owns the change β no matter who operates it later.
Which service fits your situation?
We find out in a free 30-minute assessment call β no obligation.
